Two DCHS students to compete at KEC

Oberlin, KS  The Oberlin-Decatur County Area Economic Development Corporation is thrilled to announce that two students from USD 294 will represent Decatur County at the Kansas Entrepreneurship Challenge (KEC) state competition on April 17, 2025, in Manhattan, KS.

Devyn Stagemeyer, the first-place winner at the local Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge (YEC), has automatically qualified for the state competition. Additionally, Quinn Ketterl secured a spot at KEC through a wildcard entry, showcasing the depth of entrepreneurial talent in Decatur County.

These two students will compete against top young entrepreneurs from across Kansas, with opportunities to earn prizes and cash awards.
