Decatur County Community Engagement Pictures Wanted

Oberlin-Decatur Area Economic Development Corporation (EDC) has been accepted for a new program, through EICI, called MakeMyMove.
The MakeMyMove program focuses on moving remote workers into the first 13 counties selected to participate in the campaign. EICI is hoping to place 1-5 remote workers into Decatur county by August 2025, they will then extend the program into the 26 Dane G. Hansen counties (excluding Saline and Ellis county). Moving remote workers into our county helps boost economic growth for Decatur County as well as moving new people into the county that will possibly buy homes, raise their families, and volunteer their time getting involved in the community!!
This is an exciting new program!
With that the EDC is responsible for uploading market tools to help attract new remote workers to Decatur County, all while supporting economic growth and development!
The EDC is asking the community for help in assisting with gathering pictures to go on the MakeMyMove website.
If you have any *Community Engagement* pictures (such as fair pictures or other community activities) that you would let us use, we would appreciate it! The more pictures with people from our community in them the better to help us market Decatur County.

If you have any of these types of photos you wouldn’t mind sharing with EDC to market Decatur County, please send them to sdempewolf@oberlinkansas.gov

Please note no photo credit will be given on the website, unless you already have your logo on the photo!
